Oversized jackets aren't new, but they're new to my closet. When I was younger, I'd frown at the thought of wearing something super loose on purpose. I also frowned at thrift shopping. The concept of wearing clothes from someone you've never met grossed me out.
Fast forward to the present, I'm shopping in vintage shops and thrift stores for the perfect oversized jacket. When I spotted this military jacket at Keepers Vintage, I knew I could end my search. I was in loveeee.
There's something effortlessly cool about oversized pieces. They remind me of 90's fashion and style stars like Aaliyah. Celebrities like Ciara and Rihanna continue to pull off oversized styles.
It was cold outside, so I paired my military jacket with a chunky sweater I found at Goodwill a few years ago. It's the warmest and coziest sweater I own.
These boots are my favorite. I seriously wish I had them in every color. Then I'd wear them everyday haha.
Photographer Marqel and I snuck onto a rooftop for our shoot and I was the happiest person in Baltimore City. It was cold and windy, but I didn't care. Huge thanks to Marquel for this location and for freezing his poor fingers off to get these shots.
