This look is more casual than what I usually post, but it's definitely a facet of my personal style. I love dresses and skirts, but I love sweatpants and leggings just as much. I had a pretty chill day ahead of me, so I decided to dress down and show you how I do casual style.
It was love at first sight for this cropped windbreaker. The vibrant color, over-sized fit, and 80's vibe won me over.
Leggings...where do I begin? They're comfortable, easy to wear, comfortable, easy to match, comfortable, come in every color imaginable, and oh, did I mention comfortable? They'll never go out of style, and if they do, I'll still be wearing them. Aside from comfort, I chose to wear these leggings for their aztec pattern. The printed side panel makes this look more interesting. The aztec print and bright orange color gave me all the pop I needed, so I kept everything else simple.
I'm wearing my Bauble Bar name necklace, which is still one of my favorite accessories. It's an acrylic replica of my handwriting. I used my last name in loving memory of my father and other loved ones who have passed from his side of the family. It's my way of carrying on the family name. I paired it with a more dressed up outfit here.
I wore my hair in a huge side ponytail to match the vintage vibe of my jacket. Speaking of hair, I've been getting requests to do more hair posts. You'll be seeing some soon! If there's something you'd like to see more of, leave a comment below or message me here. I always love hearing from you. ❤️
I can't end this post without acknowledging my little sister. She came along and ended up taking control of the camera. Yes, my 11 year old sister is now a photographer. Contact me for her booking info.
