Heyyy, did you miss me? It's been a long time...ok, it's been a couple weeks. Working in New York had me a little MIA. Now I'm back in town and back on track with a new post! While in New York, I used my lunch breaks as a chance to wander around Manhattan. My main mission was to find as much food and fashion as I could. I definitely got lost a few times, but it helped me stumble upon some cool places. I could've gone crazy with all the stores I found, but my suitcase was not having it.
These pants and pumps are two of things I brought home with me from NY. I was drawn to the aztec print and light weight fabric of these pants. They're very comfortable and can be worn with many types of tops. These amazing platform pumps were actually a gift from my boss. I happily accepted them after drooling in the showroom.
This burnt orange top adds some color, but doesn't stray too far from my color scheme. I kept my layers light and used this long vest to complete my look.
One jewelry trend I'm completely obsessed with is chokers. I love finding cool bracelets and turning them into chokers. That's the story behind the choker I'm pictured wearing here.
I was so thankful for the cool breeze because it was HOT when we took these pictures. My mom's a trooper for sweating it out with me. It's crazy to think that I was just walking through snow for my first lookbook with Glenford Nunez. Time really does fly!
It wasn't intentional, but I definitely have a bit of a 70s vibe going on haha. I hope you like this post! Comment below to let me know what you think.
